The Western Planner conference will not be held in 2020. Ongoing public health concerns related to COVID-19, as well as the resulting fiscal impact on many members of the Western Planner community, have precluded our ability to hold this conference, which was planned for August in Bismarck, North Dakota. The North Dakota Planning Association is working with Western Planner to reschedule the Bismarck conference for 2022 (planning is still ongoing for next year’s conference in Arizona).

We sincerely regret this missed opportunity to gather and share experiences on a regional scale. To help our Western Planners with ongoing professional development, the Western Planner is working to develop webinars and other online training. These will allow continued professional growth as well as maintenance of CM credits for AICP. Look for more details to follow on this exciting program.
