Community Planning Team Lead - Community Planning Strategies, Colorado

The Community Planning Team Lead is a member of the Operations Management Team (OMT), is located within the Operations Department, and reports directly to the President of the company. The Operations Department is the execution arm of the company and has direct interaction and relationships with assigned client communities and partners. The Department is responsible for deploying and implementing all Community Development Services provided by CPS. The Department is lead by an Operations Management Team (OMT) and has a complex structure in order to efficiently deploy resources as needed to meet client demands. It is structured through the use of team leads, project managers, client managers, and supporting roles.

The successful Community Planning Team Lead candidate will have demonstrated experience leading and motivating teams to perform at their highest level to meet project objectives. The community planning team lead must also have a strong background in local government planning, finance, administration, or a combination of experience. They will have experience with technical, research, and communication skills while holding senior or executive level positions. Experience working in small or mid-sized communities, working with multidisciplinary design and research teams, being driven in their work with a desire for advancement, and providing high quality service and products are essential to the position. An understanding of Colorado specific land use regulations and laws is necessary for this position. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting community development though creative thinking, critical assessment, strategic analysis, meticulous attention to detail, and personalized implementation.
