Larry Weil Honored at Arbor Day Celebration

The City of West Fargo, a Tree City USA community, held an Arbor Day celebration on September 18th at the POW/MIA Plaza to honor Larry Weil.

The annual celebration included a mayoral proclamation, Tree City USA remarks and a tree planting celebration to honor Larry Weil. Refreshments were provided at the event by the Urban Forestry Committee.

Larry Weil is a longtime City of West Fargo resident and former Director of Planning and Zoning and Director of Community Development. Weil was selected by the Urban Forestry Committee. His tree will be planted at Service Club Park, 401 7th Ave. E., West Fargo. Larry is also a long-time member and board member of Western Planner.
